The Skyride is a perfect way to experience the Olympic Jumping Complex without having to ski or jump yourself. It’s a great activity for families, couples, or anyone who wants to see Lake Placid from a unique and unforgettable perspective. The Skyride is included with the Lake Placid Legacy Sites Passport.

Our Skyride starts on a gondola with a bird’s eye view of the landing hill as it transports you up to the base of the ski jumping towers for a breathtaking perspective. Then ascend to the top of the HS 128 meter ski jump in our elevator.  At the top, a Sky Deck boasts panoramic views of Lake Placid and the surrounding Adirondack Mountains. Back at the in-run, get up close to the HS 100 and 128 meter ski jumps take off from our coach’s deck and see the transition from frost rail to flight. Join us for our Legacy Tour included with the Skyride Experience, June 1 – July 20, Thu-Mon, 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm.

Sky Flyer Zipline

For the ultimate adventure seeker, the thrill of ski jumping can be replicated, experience the rush of ski jumping yourself on the Sky Flyer zipline. Our Zipline follows the HS 100 meter ski jump, emulating the flight of ski jumping at speeds up to 30 miles per hour. You’ll feel the exhilaration of an Olympian as you take flight!

Ride Requirements

  • Guest must be at least 52″ tall, and 50 lb
  • Guest must be no taller than 80″ and 250 lbs
  • Closed-toe shoes are required

The Sky Flyer Zipline is a high-speed ride. For your protection, this ride is not recommended for guests with head, neck, or bone injuries, recent surgery, heart trouble, high blood pressure, heart conditions, or guest who are pregnant.
